Terms of use
Clear expectations for a public service.
Effective October 14, 2026. These terms describe the current free RoadWorq service, which is part of Baxtershire Co.
Using the service
You may browse RoadWorq to research published public projects and share links to its pages. Use the service lawfully and respect other users, our infrastructure and the terms of linked sources.
Information and decisions
Coverage is selective, records can be incomplete or delayed, and mapped locations can be approximate. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability or completeness. Confirm safety, travel, access, procurement, financial and property decisions with the responsible agency or a qualified professional. RoadWorq is not an emergency service.
Agency content and other rights
Agency records, images, maps and third-party components remain subject to their applicable rights and terms. Public availability does not grant unrestricted reuse. RoadWorq branding and original site content belong to Baxtershire Co. or their respective rights holders. These terms do not replace source licenses or grant bulk redistribution rights.
Responsible access
Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, evade access controls or rate limits, or distribute malicious content. Automated access must respect published restrictions and source terms. Contact us about integrations rather than assuming an API or redistribution license is offered.
Saved work and external services
Saved items remain in your browser and can be lost if storage is cleared. Export a backup if you need to keep them. External agency and map services operate under their own terms and privacy practices; we do not control their content or availability.
Changes and availability
We may correct records, change features or temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security or source issues. The free service does not include a service-level or support-response guarantee. Policy changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
