Frequently asked questions
Know what you’re looking at.
Answers about coverage, dates, saved work and the information behind the map.
Does RoadWorq show every construction project?
No. We publish selected agency sources and reviewed notices. Coverage varies by city, jurisdiction and department. Private work, maintenance and utility projects may be missing. No result does not establish that an area has no construction.
Is this live traffic or navigation?
No. Project records are research context. Use the agency’s current traffic and closure information before traveling or planning property access. Camera images can be delayed and their capture time may be unavailable.
Why is an agency date older than the publication date?
We may collect an agency record that has not been updated recently. The site publication date is not proof that each project field is current. An estimated finish date in the past does not establish completion.
Why does one project have several mapped parts?
One agency program can cover multiple streets, segments or locations. We retain those parts under a shared record where supported. Overlapping records from different sources may still describe related work.
Will saving a project send me updates?
No. Saved work is stored in this browser. It does not create an account, sync to other devices or subscribe you to notifications. Export a backup before clearing site data or changing devices.
Can I use the site without sharing my location?
Yes. Choose a place or search instead of using Near me. You can decline browser location permission. Read Privacy for address lookups, service requests and shared-link details.
Is RoadWorq free?
The current public browsing service is free and has no checkout. Paid subscriptions, bid alerts and research products are not available today.
Who runs RoadWorq?
RoadWorq is part of Baxtershire Co., an independent operator. Contact hello@thebaxtershire.com for support, corrections, accessibility issues or privacy questions.
Can I reuse the records or images?
Source-specific rights and terms apply. Software licenses do not grant permission to redistribute every agency record or image. Follow source links and review Source notices for published attributions.
