How RoadWorq works
From public record to a useful starting point.
Find published project information, then confirm decisions with the agency responsible for the work.
1. Choose your area
Choose a place, enter an address, use Near me with browser permission, or search for a project or street. Text search is available without the interactive map. Coverage differs by jurisdiction and source.
2. Narrow the view
Use phase, work-type and agency filters to narrow the records. Now, Soon and Later organize published information; they are not live observations of a work site. Planned and date options narrow the phases you selected.
3. Read the source, dates and location
Open a project to read its details and source link. Agency dates describe the source record; collection and publication dates describe our processing. A newly published edition can contain older agency information. Locations can be approximate street references rather than exact work footprints.
4. Save or share what matters
Save projects and areas to this browser and export a backup from Saved work. There is no account, device sync or automatic alert. Copy link rounds a searched location and omits the address by default; the address bar can still preserve an exact search.
How we handle public records
We select records from agency feeds and reviewed notices, format fields for search and display, and may simplify map geometry. Multiple map parts can belong to one project. Different sources can overlap, and a project count is not a count of distinct construction contracts.
What to confirm before acting
Confirm closures, access, schedule changes, procurement eligibility and current work with the agency. A permit, award, budget or capital program alone does not prove construction has started. Nearby cameras are context; proximity does not establish that they show the project.
When something is missing or wrong
Send the project link, place and supporting agency notice through Contact. Missing information and inaccessible sources remain review gaps. We check evidence before changing status, location or identity.
